I have been so blessed by JJ Heller’s new album, LOVED, which is being released today! I’m not sure if it is the beautiful music, or moving lyrics which have touched my heart. Maybe it’s the combination. But I love it!
When JJ and her husband/co-writer, Dave began writing for their sixth studio album Loved, they were confronted by illness, death and broken marriages within their community. So, although much of their previous work concentrated on the whimsical and simple joys of life, the Hellers chose to stay true to the weight of their season of life when crafting lyrics this time around.
And they did a beautiful job!
