Where There’s a Will…

Chinese Food

After almost three days of milkshakes, pudding and yogurt, my son decided he wanted some real food.

The pain from the new braces and herbst has lessened considerably. But his teeth don’t make enough contact to chew.

Last night, he rode with me to pick up Chinese take-out and the wonderful smell drove him crazy all the way home.

He became more determined than ever to find a way…

So, into the little processor went some Cashew Chicken, a hint of water, and a dose of Soy Sauce.  Not pretty (by a long shot).

But he said it was “Very Good!”  Lol!

The wonderful thing was that it was loaded with vegetables which he normally would have picked out!

Now he is looking at the leftover cold pizza in the fridge with new eyes. Lord have mercy!

On another note, this is the second day of summer vacation(really, the first, since Friday was spent at the orthodontist, picking up supplies, and going to a swim party).

Putting two thoughts together to post while the wild Indians circle my desk seems futile.  I can see it is going to be an interesting summer!!

I'm glad he liked it! Somehow the texture and look would have thrown me off!

I agree. That texture doesn't seem like "Chinese" to me. Although, I'm sure it was super yummy to him! :) BLESS

Good to "see" you again.

Poor Guy! But I'm glad he found a way to "eat" that Chinese food! Kinda reminds me of when I used to puree our dinner for our babies.
