A Glimpse Of Our Week…Last Week, That Is!

How can one girl get so dreadfully behind?  And just how does she get caught up when there are so many gaps in her blog?

I’ll let you know if I figure it out!  As best as I can figure, though, you just pick it back up when you can and go on.  And hope that your friends will understand.  :)

In the mean time, here are three pictures from last week’s snow.  Pictures are always fun, right?

The first…Snow Angels…

This made me laugh!  All three boys making angels in the snow! This may be the closest I will ever come to having three “angelic” sons all at one time!!  Lol!  Three Angels

The second…Snow Writing…

He wanted to write his name in the snow.  In very BIG letters.  :)

Snow Writing

No matter that his “A” disappeared into the tree-line!

And the third…Red Cheeks…

It was COLD!  The thermometer read 0 degrees or below on several mornings, and the nights weren’t much better!  Very Cold

This week, the weather is much warmer, thankfully.

But I’ve caught a cold that is making me talk like I have no nose, and making my head feel like it is going to explode.  I haven’t had a cold in a long time, so I really shouldn’t complain. But still, it stinks.  This morning I actually went back to bed after getting the troops out the door.  And I got absolutely nothing accomplished.

Well, accept this attempt at a post.  I’m anxious to kick this cold and get back in the swing of things.

After all, these are the winter months when the long hours spent indoors lend themselves to blogging, right?  So why am I finding it so hard?  That’s the question of the day.  I think I’m going to start a notebook where I can jot down ideas when I think of them, and then blog about them when I find the time.

Do any of you keep a notebook like that?  How do you keep things fresh on your blog?  I’d love to hear your ideas.  :)

Bring on the sunshine!!

I love the pics - especially those red cheeks!
It's been cold here too with lots of snow.
I've got a cold too. I felt crummy all weekend, which was bad because I had to work. And Saturday, which was the worst day, I had to work 12 hours. I was glad to come home and was in bed by 8:30!
I don't keep a notebook, but I do write down blog ideas. I just start a new post, type out the idea and hit save. Then when I'm having a hard time thinking of ideas, I go to edit posts and find the list of posts I've saved.

Oh the snow angel picture is priceless!!
And we do forgive you for not giving us much attention lately. LOL!
As far as keeping things fresh.........writing things down is good, especially at our age. LOL! I forget things in about 2 seconds if I don't write the thought down. Besides, nobody knows "when" you might have bought something you want to show us or "when" you went somewhere you want to tell us about. Sometimes I forget that and I think that noone will be interested in it now but they never knew about it in the first place. Did that make any sense what-so-ever? Ha!
Hey, you asked!
Still lovin' ya over here.
Have a great night.

The snow looks like it was a hit, but I saw bring on the sunshine too! I go through phases with my blog when I really want to update it and other times when I could care less. It's nice to think of it as a hobby and not a job or something that has to be done though - makes it more enjoyable.

What fun in the snow!!

I try to keep some ideas for posts in my drafts folder in blogger, but sometimes even that's not enough inspiration! I guess I just try to pay more attention to the little things that happen each day and then develop those thoughts into a post.

Have a nice Wednesday!
