Nighttime Wonderland

I wandered around the house tonight, flipping on the floodlights, looking out the windows at the glistening snow.  It’s the kid in me, I guess.  There’s just something very awe inspiring about the tiny speckles of glittering snow.  I wish my camera did it justice.2

The speckles went on as far as the light.

I tried another window, and noticed I wasn’t alone in my glitter gazing.  :)

I love how this picture came out, even with all of its imperfections.  Probably mostly because of the two little faces smiling and waving from the other side of the house, and enjoying the wonderland as much as their mom.

It wasn’t long before I heard thumping little feet running down the hallway, and we were all enjoying the view from my window.  Together.  :)

Glistening snow wonder

I love snow at night.  It’s like a nighttime wonderland.  And I don’t think you ever outgrow the wonder of it.

The wonderland of snow is magical! I love how you captured the sparkle in the little ones' faces as they gaze out into the wintry spectacle! Definitely a Finer Thing!

This reminds me of myself! And of course the little ones crowded around taking in the beauty of the snow!

It's beautiful and peaceful, but I think I'm over it for this year. ;) We've had more snow than we have had in years this winter. I'm good till next year. :)

Yes the magic of snow is captivating but, when the air is SO cold that it sparkles and glitters, I just want to be in the warmth of the desert!

I agree, snow -- at night -- is gorgeous. If we could just keep it there. :)

The best thing about winter is the snow... and we don't have any yet! :( I'm really enjoying everyone else's photos, though!
