Happy Birthday Jesus Party!…And a Give Away!

When I was contacted and asked if I’d be interested in looking over Really Woolly’s Happy Birthday Jesus Kit, I was pretty excited.

Since we always have a “birthday party for Jesus” at Christmas time, this kit fit right into our family traditions!

My five year old, btw, wanted to know just how Jesus was going to eat his treat. Lol!

We reminded him that the party is really to help us focus on the birth of Jesus. The above picture is courtesy of DaySpring, since my own party pictures were lost. :( Their cup cakes look MUCH nicer than my brownies, anyway!

Included in the Really Woolly Happy Birthday kit are:

  • 9 Online Event Access Tickets
  • 1 Scripture-Based Celebration Guidebook
  • 3 Candles
  • 8 Plates
  • 8 Napkins
  • 8 Noisemakers
  • 6 Balloons
  • 1 Banner

My boys loved the noise makers best, naturally. Lol!

But what makes this kit more than just a pack of paper supplies are the Guide book, and the tickets with access codes. The tickets open up an online opportunity for children and their families to learn more about Jesus. Once online, they’ll interact with a live teacher and the Really Woolly characters who guide them through a 30 minute lesson, complete with a story, activities and games.

  • Here’s How It Works: When you and your child go online and enter the code from your ticket, you are taken to a class schedule and can see when the next party is taking place. They have multiple parties scheduled throughout the day. So if you’ve just missed one, wait for a little bit and join the next one.

When my little guy and I signed in to the Birthday Party For Jesus lesson, we were pretty impressed. A host in a chat box appeared and greeted us by name. She then guided us through the various games and activities.

Our connection must have been really slow, because when we tried to answer her questions in the chat box, she didn’t seem to get our responses. She eventually just took us on to the next activity. But still, I thought it was neat for my son to be encouraged by name as he tried out the games.

I have to say that I found some of the games a little tough for my five-year-old. In fact, I found them tough for ME. Lol! But the target age is 5-6.

You can check out a FREE experience by going here.

And now, for the Give Away! This cute little Really Woolly Lamb, named Gracie is going to one of my readers.Gracie Really Woolly Lamb

She comes complete with a special access code for one of the online activities!

Just leave a comment letting me know who you would like to give Gracie to and why.

Comments will close at noon on Christmas Eve Day.

I’ll then pick a random numbered comment from this post to be the lucky winner! Don’t forget to leave your email in the comment so I can contact you if you win. :) All comments will be entered into the drawing unless you indicate you’d rather not participate.

We got Jacob with our kit. Were we supposed to give them away on our blog? LOL. I didn't get my kit till the end of last week so I thought it was kind of late to blog about it by the time we had the party, but maybe it's not. My boys like the noise makers the best too!!

I love the Happy Birthday Jesus pack. I would give the wooly lamb to my friend Sarah for her boys.
She is a great Christian mom. Her boys get three gifts for Christmas just like Jesus did, no Santa at their house.

I would give the lamb to my girls. This sounds like fun--we're new to setting up our own traditions (up to now we've mostly travelled to one grandparent or the other for Christmas). Maybe we should add a party for Jesus in our Christmas Day celebrations.
