Christmas Sparkle

Everyone should have a little sparkle in their Christmas, don’t you think?  Thursday, I got this package in the mail from my friend at Homesteader’s Heart, and I KNEW it was going to be fun to open.

Do you know how??

I could see SPARKLES through the holes!  Lol!

GiftMy little guy had been laying round all morning, feeling yucky with a fever.  Mostly just wanting me to hold him.  But after I went out for the mail,THIS perked him up.  :)  Sparkles do that!

We carefully opened the box and I could have hugged my friend on the spot.  She took such care in wrapping and packaging everything that my little guy was soon smiling in wonder at all the pretty colors and sparkles. Even the tissue paper had sparkles!!

Girlfriend, you know how to do Christmas right!

Christmas Gift 2

We soon had my older two boys gathered around, too, to see what all the fun was about.  They thought it funny that I got a gift from someone I had never “seen” before.  But that’s O.K. Laugh if you want, boys.  I have some of the best “virtual” friends in the whole blog world.  :)

Christmas gift 3And this blog friend and her wonderful hand-crafted ornaments made our day!

My little guy picked out the perfect places on the tree to hang the ornaments.  Then I settled into my lazy chair with a blanket and the Gooseberry Patch booklet for a little self indulgence!

Tomorrow afternoon, I intend to don my cool Christmas socks and pretty new apron to begin my marathon Christmas cookie baking.

Thank you, friend, for a wonderful giveaway, and for adding SPARKLE to our day!

Check out my friend’s wonderful and FUN blog over at Homesteader’s Heart!  There’s always something to laugh at with her.  :)

And if you’re in the neighborhood, stop by and have some cookies with us!

Wow, that's some friend you got there! LOL!!!
I am so glad that you enjoyed everything and it brought some smiles. I'm really glad that you won and I always pray before a name is picked, so I know that it was meant for you to win!
Love you my friend and have a blessed day!!
