After a week of Spring break, I’m still trying to find my house, get back on a routine, and make my brain work. So I was happy when Amy at The King’s Table introduced me to a fun new meme.
Tina, at Golden Goodness has a Friday Meme called Grilling Goodness where she posts questions, then answers them. It’s a get to know you kind of thing.
Although it isn’t Friday, and I’m weeks late for this particular set of party questions, they looked like fun ones. So I’m going to tag along (way late) and look forward to joining her next party.
Since Tina was on Spring Break last week, the questions I’m pulling are from March 27’s Grilling Goodness.
Maybe you’ll find it fun and join me at her place Friday (if she is back from Spring Break).
Questions:
1. Do you prefer to write with pen or pencil?
2. What was off limits to you growing up that you do all the time now?
3. What is the age difference between you and your spouse?
4. Did you hurt yourself in anyway this week?
5. Do you like wallpaper enough to hang it in your home?
6. What do you need to do that you've been putting off?
7. What did you do this week that you wish you hadn't?
8. Did anything keep you up late this week?
My Answers:
1. Do you prefer to write with pen or pencil? a (very) sharp pencil)
2. What was off limits to you growing up that you do all the time now? Oh, that’s easy. I clip my nails in the car. Dad always had a fit when he heard clipping in the back seat. But my husband doesn’t mind a bit. In fact, he chuckles at my rebelliousness.
3. What is the age difference between you and your spouse? He is 11 years older. For the record, my husband was turning silver around the edges BEFORE we met. Quite contrary to his insisting that he had no grey until he married me.
4. Did you hurt yourself in anyway this week? I pulled my back moving a log. (a very, very, very Big log)
5. Do you like wallpaper enough to hang it in your home? No. I’m not a wallpaper girl. But I have left the wolf border around the sun room which the previous owners hung—mainly because I’m too lazy to remove it. It’s strange, though, and ends abruptly in the middle of two walls.
6. What do you need to do that you've been putting off? File my coupons. I have 4 weeks worth cut and the pile looks totally overwhelming.
7. What did you do this week that you wish you hadn't? Pulled my back, and shared a negative story about a neighbor with a friend. I should have kept that story to myself.
8. Did anything keep you up late this week? Two sick kids, the movie Bolt (Cute movie, by the way!), and reading.

That was interesting. I've put up plenty of wallpaper back when it was "in". I've also taken lots of it down and am now swearing I'll never put it up again. Hope it doesn't come back into style!
