Amy (of A King’s Table)recently posted a poem that touched me and totally reminded me of my boys.
I printed it out to frame as a birthday gift from my four year old to his bigger brother.
I thought maybe he could draw a picture at the bottom. But then I saw the eyes in this picture and knew I had found the perfect illustration for the poem.
BIG BROTHER
My little eyes are watching
All you say and do
And when I grow up big and tall
I want to be like you
My little ears are listening
To everything you say
I am learning how to grow up
To be like you someday.
So, be careful how you teach me
To be the person that you are.
You're a night in shining armor
You are my shining star.

That is so sweet...and the picture is just about as perfect as perfect can be.
P.S. My PSF and the linky list will be up in a few hours. I usually post around 3:30 PM MST. I hope you'll add this to the list!
OH I love it. Your boys look like my boys. They are 6 and 3. That would be cute to hang on the wall.
Blessings,
Kim
The poem is great and the picture is just perfect!
That is a lovely picture of the 2 brothers.
The poem was very apt to illustrate the photo, if you know what I mean.
I love the baby photo on your header. I am wondering which of your children it is!
What a perfect photo to go with the poem. That is a gift your son is sure to treasure.
That was such a sweet poem
thankyou for sharing it

Maggie May,
The header picture is of my four-year-old, the one who's little eyes take in everything his older brothers do! :)
The picture is perfect -- I love that your younger son is checking to make sure he's doing everything just right -- just like his older brother.
the older ones don't always know how much they are looked up to, do they?
What a neat little poem! The photo is adorable and I can just the little guy thinking these thoughts.
Perfect combo!
