The boys had a soccer game at 11:00 today, a much better time for those of us who like to sleep late on Saturday! It seemed to be a better time for the kids too. It was such a beautiful day, we all went to watch--even Dad, who had tons of stuff he probably should have been doing (but more on that later).The teams were matched fairly evenly and the score remained close. Who won? I'm not sure, but I think we might have had the edge. Games like that are fun.
The most exciting part was that there were a couple of beautiful passes that resulted in scores. It must have done the coach's heart some good to see his team learning from last week. That's what its all about. I sure was proud of them.
Our future little soccer player found the perfect seat to watch!
The next soccer practice is Thursday night.
