Tonight, I went out to take a few flower shots in the late evening sunshine. There were a number of bumble bees begging to get in on the fun and I wanted to see how much detail I could capture with my new D5000.
Oh boy!
And Wow!
Sigh. :)
This Bee makes the water droplets I was so impressed with yesterday look wimpy.
I really like this camera. Nothing is safe around here. I have a feeling it could even make my dust bunnies look beautiful.
But I’ll spare you. :)
Having an upgraded camera is definitely a wonderful thing!

Ah....nothing like a nice new camera....
That is VERY close to the bee -- but I would be more frightened of the dust bunnies.
Holy cow!!! Those are amazing - and even more so that you got that close to a bee - yikes! I SO need a new camera.

What awesome shots! I think you should totally take photos of dust bunnies. That would be really cool to see how they turn out with your fancy new camera. I bet they would look really amazing! Seriously, you should try it! No joke!
