You did WHAT??

Soon after we moved out here, my friend and old (make that former) neighbor, Lisa, clipped and sent this ad that had appeared in the local paper.

Note: I substituted fictitious name, address, and phone number for the real contact information. The poor guy was in enough trouble without someone like me posting it on the World Wide Web for all to giggle over.
Lost
Accidentally sold my wife's
CABBAGE SLICER during
Wernersville Yard Sale on May 3rd.
Desperately need it back!!!
(Was in her family 3 generations).
WILL PAY MANY, MANY
MORE TIMES WHAT IT WAS
SOLD FOR. . . we'll make a deal.
Call Doghouse Joe at 1-800-Idi-dbad
(100 Mud Lane)

Can't you just feel his pain????

Oh how I love Fridays. This morning, we're taking my oldest for his first orthodontist consultation. Oh joy! I'd much rather be reading all the funnies at Homesteader's Heart. But alas, they'll have to wait for later. . .Happy Friday, Everyone!

Hmm, is that Wernersville, PA? I have family there! Hope it's not my cousin!

Um I'm not sure it posted my comment cause it didn't say anything so if I'm repeating myself just ignore the fact that I'm telling you AGAIN that that was really funny and I feel his pain! LOL.
Happy Friday to you my friend.

Marsha, Yes. Wernersville, Pa. I hope it wasn't your cousin, too! This would have been almost 6 years ago. I keep the ad on the fridge because it still makes me chuckle.

Mari, I wonder too! Maybe I'll work up the courage to try the number and ask. :)

Oh, poor poor Joe! Men should never do yard sales. We had one several years ago and Duller sold our cordless phone right out of my hands... while I was talking on it! LOL!

Have a JESUS-filled day! ^i^
